Changes to Our Joomla Classroom Training
We’re making some changes to our Joomla Classroom training and have three pieces of news for you, one good, one bad and one so-so.
Good News: More Swag For Each Student
We’ve been thinking about is how to improve what we do after the class:
“How can we support students afterwards so they can be reminded of what they learn?”
Our solution is to give them more resources and more support. Everyone who comes to our Joomla classroom training will now get:
- 6 months of access to ostraining.com so they can watch a video version of their class
- 6 months of support forum access at ostraining.com
- A copy of Joomla Explained.
Bad News: Prices Now Aligned With Our Drupal Classes
For the last year we’ve been charging $349 for our Drupal classes and $299 for Joomla classes. All our classes will now be $349.
So-So News: No More Template Design Classes
We’re going to run our template design classes any longer. The template class in Boston next week will likely be the last one we hold.
Why All the Changes?
We’re getting close to one of our key goals for 2011: aligning all our training. Our plan is that you’ll get trained in the same way, with the same techniques whether you come to our classroom training, read our book or take our online classes.
From now on, if you come to our classroom training, you’ll also get a book and videos which will match what you learned. You’ll also get the same great support that you got when you were in the same room with us.
That’s partly we decided not to hold any more template class: we weren’t prepared to support it across all of our platforms.
Hopefully these changes will make our classroom training better. Look for even more changes to come over the next few weeks …
Lot of Classes This Year
