Video of Ethan Marcotte’s The Map and the Territory

Ethan Marcotte was one of the keynote speakers at this year’s Joomla World Conference in Boston.

Ethan’s keynote address was called the “The Map and the Territory”. He’s a really engaging speaker, and it was wonderful to listen to his ideas for an hour.

Ethan is famous for creating the phrase “responsive web design” and many of the techniques involved. So it was interesting to hear Ethan outline why he thinks responsive design is no longer enough. 

It’s worth thanking the Joomla World Conference team. This keynote was streamed live and then put online within 30 minutes. Even with those challenges, the audio and video quality is really high.

The keynote starts at the 5.30 mark. This is absolutely worth an hour of your time.
