How to Upload a Favicon into Drupal Adaptive Theme

Adaptive Theme is a popular free Drupal 7 theme. It comes with nice features to customize the layout and some design elements, including the option to upload a custom favicon.

In this short tutorial we will show you how to upload a favicon by using the Drupal Adaptive Theme.

Step #1. Upload a favicon

In your dashboard go to:

  1. Appearance
  2. AT
  3. Settings

  1. Scroll down and click “Shortcut icon settings”
  2. Uncheck “Use the default shortcut icon”
  3. Upload icon image in ico or png format
  4. Save configuration

Go to your public site to preview the new favicon:
