Learn Bootstrap 2, Joomla’s Responsive Design Framework

Rod Martin · January 1, 2013

This class is designed to give you an introduction to creating mobile-friendly websites. You’ll learn to use Bootstrap 2, the version of the framework used by Joomla.

After a brief introduction and some examples, we’ll create a very simple design from scratch.

We’ll then move on to an overview of Bootstrap, one of the many responsive design frameworks.

In this class, we’ll create a couple of pages for a hypothetical web design company. We’ll round out the course with a discussion on responsive images, one of the three parts of responsive design, and one of the most difficult.
