CapitalCamp Drupal Intermediate Training is for you!
This event is different from our regular monthly training in Washington D.C. because it’s being held as part of CapitalCamp.
CapitalCamp is the first ever DC DrupalCamp. It will be chock full of informational resources and learning to benefit government and Drupal developers alike.

Subjects Taught
You’ll build on your Drupal knowledge and get to grips with how to modify, improve and develop great Drupal websites:
- Part 1: An introduction to Fields / CCK and how they control data on your Drupal site
- Part 2: Building more advanced Drupal sites with Fields / CCK
- Part 3: An introduction to the Views module, how it works, how to configure it and how they display data
- Part 4: Building more advanced Drupal sites with Views
- Part 5: The Panels module and drag-and-drop, code-free design for your Drupal pages
- Part 6: Editing and understanding themes
Pre-Requisites
To get the most out of this class, you’ll need a good basic knowledge of Drupal. Do you know to create content and use roles? Do you know how to install themes and modules?

Your Trainer
Steve Burge
Steve Burge is the founder of OSTraining. He has split his career equally between teaching and web development. In 2007 he merged the two by teaching web development with Joomla. His company OSTraining now teaches Joomla classes around the world and online.
Steve now travels widely, helping people learn and thrive with Open Source. He taught at DrupalCon Chicago, will teach at DrupalCon London and has been heavily involved in various Open Source project, writing books, starting user groups and serving as a board member.
